Blogging tools and add-ons

Well by this point I’m guessing you already own a website, and either you’re selling something on it,
or you’ve set up a blog, or you’re still thinking “Whats my next step?”

So today I’ll tell you about a Kick-ass software that can make wonders with your blog, and turn it into an
affiliate marketing machine.
Don’t you wonder sometimes that you can actually do much better with your affiliate links?
How about having a control to automatically convert any keyword in your blog to an affiliate link instantly?

Think how much flexibility and ease you can have with your blog this way.
There’s a privilege like this to make your affiliate marketing go smarter and wiser.
It’s called “MBP Ninja Affiliate” and it can make a huge difference to your WordPress blogging.

How?

With these features:

  • Branding your blog domain while creating professional and short looking link.
  • Cloaking your affiliate link and avoiding commission theft
  • Showing you how many people have visited your link and from where
  • Converting any keywords in your blog to money making affiliate links

With Ninja Affiliate, you can add or edit links and keywords real fast.
You can see all your links and with just one click you can have access to all the details to any link.
It is as easy as uploading, activating, and entering your affiliate links.
The plugin manages all the rest.
If you are trying to make money by selling ad spaces and writing paid review then you are leaving behind
a huge chunk of money on the table.

You can actually double your blogging earnings by promoting affiliate programs, just by linking  specific
keywords in your blog posts into affiliate programs.

Example:

Your blog is about Health and Fitness and you’ve talked about “healthy diet”.
What you can do is you can link that very keyword to an affiliate program.
Now your readers can follow that link to buy the related product and you’ll be the one earning commission
out of it.

Let’s say you have another post and you have the phrase “aerobic exercise”.
You can link this keyword to a good aerobic exercise tutorial video and if your readers buy the video
from that very link you’ll be the one getting paid again.
Getting paid commissions out of the keywords that lead to affiliate links is not a small deal.
Can you imagine how much impact will that be making to your overall blog income?

Fact is: Ninja Affiliate (a powerful wordpress plugin) can do that.
All your blog posts that laid idle and all those keywords that you wanted to link can be made affiliate links
instantly, that can earn you passive commissions.

What about all those RSS subscribers you have?
I can bet most of your loyal readers read your blog using RSS feed.
That means they see no ads, and they don’t increase any page views.
Unfortunately they just don’t do anything to increase your earning.

BUT linking your keywords to affiliate links will earn you money even from your RSS readers as well.

Sounds interesting?
It is!  And not only that, the main reason Im writing about this now is that MBP has fixed a major setback
in the program. It used to only pick the 3 top keywords and link them, no more – Now it links all of them,
just like it should.

Think of the possibilities and fore-see how far you can go with your blog incomes.
The choice is yours, whether to stick with your penny-wise income or learn an effective affiliate marketing here

With WordPress 2.8 release days away now, I decided to write a review of the upcoming features,
and point out few things that WordPress still needs.
I have been testing WP 2.8 for the last month or so, and although this version has only few major new features it is very important step forward in the WordPress development.

New Dashboard

New Dashboard

With WP 2.8, few changes to the interface are made, most important is multi column dashboard, supporting up to 4 columns for widgets.
Theme installation and management is also improved allowing you to search WordPress Extend themes repository, similar to plugin search.
Another new feature is rich editor with syntax highlighting and function code auto completion for the theme and also for plugins. Editors also allow editing all plugin files including the files in sub folders. This will allow making small changes much easier and faster then uploading each change via FTP.

Widgets Panel

Widgets Panel

The new Widget panel now shows all available widgets, and all registered sidebars.
All settings and changes are saved through AJAX and that makes working with
widgets very easy and painless.

The downside is that old widgets are not going to work with WP 2.8.
All plugins/widget authors need to update the code, and make new widgets for WP 2.8. At this point only few existing widgets are updated to work with new WP.
So, check all the plugins you use before updating.

Other changes:
Many bugs are fixed, admin pages are loading faster and jQuery is updated to the latest 1.3.2.
All this makes WP 2.8 very stable and much faster than 2.7 was.

WordPress 2.8 is great, and I recommend switching from old WP versions as soon as WP 2.8 becomes available.
I know that I will..
